A more permanent attraction at Freedom Fest is our New Life Cross. The adjoining pavilion and patio at the foot of cross makes this a beautiful place to sit, relax and enjoy some great food at Freedom Fest.

The cross’s construction was completed on May 6, 2013, and it was dedicated in a special service on June 23, 2013.
The New Life Cross stands at 60 feet high and 40 feet high. The circumference of is 20 feet and includes 12 commemorative benches. Nearly 50 cubic yards of concrete secure the cross 11 feet underground. Over 90 tons of concrete were used. In all, the cross itself weighs 25,000 pounds.
The second phase of the cross project was the New Life Pavilion. Today, an 100 foot commemorative walkway join the pavilion and the cross.
