Freedom Fest 2016 will be Saturday, June 25, 2016. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. Our free health clinic will run from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Freedom Fest started as a “backyard BBQ” in 2002 and has developed into one of the largest community events in the Janesville, Wisconsin area. It grew from a few friends and church family into a full-blown festival. It has been estimated that between 25,000 and 30,000 people attend Freedom Fest. We have great attractions, delicious food and excellent stage performances. And, the best thing about it is, it’s free! We don’t charge admission; we don’t charge to park; we don’t charge for any rides; we don’t charge for the concert; and, we don’t charge for the fireworks. Even our food vendors’ prices are discounted from a normal festival. That means you can enjoy an awesome day of fun and entertainment without hurting the pocket!
The Day of Compassion has also grown to be a regular part of Freedom Fest. Due to the generosity of Mercy Health Systems, we are able to offer a free health clinic on the day of Freedom Fest. This clinic offers various health screenings and educational seminars. We have a children’s area where things are geared specifically for them, like a petting zoo, face painting and jump houses. There are carnival rides for the more adventurous and stage entertainment for those who just want to relax. And, of course, at the end of the night, we have an incredible fireworks display.
So, come join us at our family-friendly, Christ-honoring, patriotic event!
