When Dywight was 8, his uncle say him in the corner with a guitar, and showed him 2 chords. “Stay put ’til I finish makin’ supper.” he said… By the time the meal was ready, D could play “House of the Rising Sun”. He was hooked!

Since that day he also became prolific on drums, keys, bass, harmonica, you name it – he can play it!

Having been in bands all his life, D was ready to apply all he knew to form a band that would give him the freedom to play the guitars he loved, and give ear to the original music that filled his soul…

He called some musicians from past collaborations; Lance on the keys, Donna for vocals, Mike on bass… and he took a chance on some new talent; Michelle on drums, Eric and Karli as vocalists, and Beth on guitars.

Crossroads was born, and we’ve been trying to catch up ever since!!!

No more than 2 weeks after we got together, we had people asking us to come and play. Where most bands knock on doors day and night to find gigs, we have been playing consistently since day one – trying to fit all the dates into our calendar.

The music is straight southern fried, bluesy rock and roll! We know how to have a good time with the music…
Our biggest shining moment to date has been opening up for Award winning recording artists Big Daddy Weave at a WI fest – to a crowd of 20,000 people on the grounds.

Other achievements include; headlining at city wide events, local county fairs, and hot spots. The biggest honor where these are concerned is that we are always asked to come back wherever we play.

There aren’t any bands out there that are doing what we are doing right now, but we hope it will spread like wildfire!
